Estadio Francisco Villa is a multi-use stadium in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium for Real Sociedad de Zacatecas. The stadium has a capacity 18,000 people.

History

The stadium was opened in 1986 with a game between the Leones Negros UdeG and the South Korea National Team. Leones win 1-0, the next day, Zacatecas State team defeated another time the asians. This stadium was originally part of a proyect to give Zacatecas city a multi-porpose stadium, also an Sports Complex and other venues.

Villa was the home of several soccer franchises, the highest level to be played in the Villa Stadium was the Liga de Ascenso were the Real Sociedad de Zacatecas played nine seasons from 1997 to 2003.
